This vintage Ping Anser features Karsten Solheim’s iconic heel-and-toe weighted cavity-back construction, a design that established the blueprint for the modern Anser-style putter. Its compact blade profile, squared shoulders and traditional plumber’s neck create a timeless appearance at address, while the offset hosel and natural toe flow suit golfers with a slight-to-moderate arc in their putting stroke.

The classic manganese-bronze head offers a firm, responsive strike with distinctive acoustic feedback. A full-width sound slot in the sole further enhances the putter’s crisp feel and unmistakable character.

This example presents in a clean satin bronze-gold finish that beautifully highlights the original cast details. The cavity retains its desirable vintage markings, including PING ANSER, Karsten Mfg. Corp., the Phoenix, Arizona address and the original United States patent number.

Completed with a steel shaft and a new black leather grip, this Ping Anser is equally suited to the golfer who appreciates traditional feedback or the collector looking for an important piece of putter history.

This PING WRX Anser Ti 1 takes that heritage and adds a much rarer custom-style build. The standout feature is the anodised purple titanium hosel, marked Ti 1, giving the putter a distinctive collector look and a different feel profile from standard stainless or bronze-neck Ansers. The head carries the classic PING cavity branding, Anser script, U.S.A. stamp and individual head number 6048, giving it the kind of detail that collectors love.

The face shows a precision textured insert area designed to create a softer, controlled strike, while the Anser head shape gives the player traditional toe flow and a clean address position. It is fitted with a black PING ID-8 style grip and retains the shaft label detail, adding to its originality and display appeal.

This putter is best suited to the golfer who appreciates heritage equipment, rare PING models and putters with real character. It can be played, collected or displayed as part of a premium PING / Anser collection.
