However, it has its limitations, as once it surpasses a certain thinness, it can no longer withstand high-speed impacts. By leveraging ballistic-grade poly mesh, a material used in bulletproof vests, and carbon fiber, Tri-Force allows the titanium portion of the face, which is responsible for its speed, to be 14% thinner and 17% more resilient than previously possible. Callaway then optimized the face, utilizing their industry-leading AI modeling to account for the newly unlocked performance possibilities. The results are dramatic, with Tri-Force delivering significantly faster ball speeds and forgiveness across the face.
