The Newport head shape is based on a classic heel-toe weighted blade with softened edges, a radiused topline and a traditional player-preferred profile. Scotty Cameron’s archive describes the Newport as being inspired by the early Classic 1 shape, with a plumbing neck and 1/4 toe hang. The face uses a Teryllium insert, described by Scotty Cameron as a 12-metal alloy backed by an elastomer membrane to create one of the softest feels in the Cameron line.
